About Breaking Grace:
Two years ago, I murdered the love of Grace Garrett’s life.
I had it all – a thriving company, money, women at my beck and call. Then I shot and killed James Winthrop. And got away with it.
His beautiful fiancé is ruined, so damaged she’s destroying herself. And I’m the reason why.
Nothing and nobody can save her. Except me. Only I know how to help her start again. By wiping the slate clean. Breaking her down until she’s brand new. And rewarding her obedience with the one thing she truly needs. Vengeance against me.
She walks into the courtroom and everyone stops breathing.
Except for me. I breathe harder.
Blood surges through my body like a dam just broke, flooding every distant vein. I flex my fists. The instinct to fuck on sight is so strong I can barely stay in my chair.
It isn’t because she’s beautiful, though she is. Or dressed to kill, ditto. She’s wearing a cream silk blouse tucked into a skinny, ass-skimming skirt and high-heeled sandals that tie like a little suede rope around her ankles. If they’re supposed to make me think of all the things I could do to her, mission accomplished.
Chin high, she strides past the first row of seats. Heads swivel. The chatter stops.
Here she comes, the lovely grieving widow. Not exactly widow. Fiancé. And she’s practically a child, only twenty-three.
When Dolly Parton wrote Jolene, she was imagining a girl like Grace Garrett. With flaming locks of auburn hair, with ivory skin, and eyes of emerald green. The lyrics are like Grace’s own personal Missing poster. Along with a list of the things I jerk off to every night.
There are a few descriptives Dolly didn’t think of, like a click-bait body and a stern, craggy-faced minister for a father. This chick was born for social media. The press loves her. She’s got a good-girl pedigree, and she looks amazing no matter what she’s doing. Sitting, walking, crying, or wishing me stone-cold dead.
That’s the part everyone is here to see. The silent explosion when our eyes meet. The epic, David and Goliath battle between her and me. Evil on one side, good on the other.
That’s what makes me hard. What can I say? I’ve always liked contrast.
Grace doesn’t care if I’m taller, richer, stronger, smarter, and better-looking than anyone she’s ever met. She knows the world loves an underdog, and she’s going to take me down. She’s here to show everyone what a bastard I am.
As if they don’t already know.
My proclivities have been the stuff of gossip for years. I run with a crowd so wealthy and twisted, there are no limits.
When the jury looks at me, they think they know me. They put rumor and wishful thinking together, and create the perfect monster. And they love it. Something makes a brutal sort of sense in their world, and that something is me.
If only they knew what Grace knows, and I know. They’d discover that they’ve got the story backwards.
I’m not the villain in this tragic drama.

First off, this is my first Rose Devereux book. I love dark romance stories and wanted to see how Rose brought her story to life. I was not disappointed. This book starts with the loss of Grace’s fiance when she is suing the man she feels murdered him. We then move to eighteen months later. Grace is still suffering from her loss and pretty much hates her life. Bram is getting on with his life finally. But Grace is always there in the back of his mind. Just when he thinks life is going his way, someone drops a little present off at his house.
This is a story of discovery, secrets, lies, family, and discovery of one’s self. Sometimes you have to be broken to be fixed. But finding the right person to do that, that can be the hard part.
This is a great book and a must read! Love it.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

I was in love with the boy. I’m obsessed with the man.
Logan is my older brother’s best friend.
My teenage years were spent dreaming about our future together.
He taught me how to kiss. He stayed up late with me while I studied. He escorted me to the prom.
But he is one of the Screw Crew and they only have one rule. I’m off limits.
I went to college and he started working. The secret messages stopped and I lost my first love before it even had a chance.
I’ve spent the past four years trying to forget the only man I’ll ever love. Just as I start to make a life for myself, guess who comes barging back into my life?

de Lis has never been denied the pleasure of a woman’s body…until now. Lilah,
once a warrior maiden in the service of a goddess, languishes on earth after
being cast out from the slopes of Mount Olympus.Lilah will do anything to return home, including betraying Roth. As she spins
her web of lies, Roth begins a slow, wicked seduction that eventually threatens
to consume them both. But when Lilah’s deceit comes to light, will their torrid
love affair be able to overcome a pact with the darkest of gods?
When I started writing this review I was really conflicted because this is such a good book, it hits everything you could want in a paranormal romance. But anything I seem to come up with didn’t seem to hit the mark. So here is what I came up with after an hour of debate.
Incubus is the start of what is shaping up to be the start of a wonderful series. Roth and Lilah are an unexpected couple which to say it takes a long time for them to get there. This wonderful story takes you from Mount Olympus to our world, to Hell. Lilah and Roth are complicated beautifully written characters that bring the paranormal world to life. This is a must read! Celia Aaron is a recovering attorney who loves romance and erotic fiction. Dark to light, angsty to funny, real to fantasy—if it’s hot and strikes her fancy, she writes it. Thanks for reading.
Book 1: The Bonus:
I am a huge fan of mafia and dark romance books, and this being my first AJ Adams book I always go in with a very open mind. So with that in mind, I gave this story a go and jumped right in having no idea where this story was going to take me. There is no backstory or really any names to go with, this is not your normal story. There is, however, a woman on an ice block hanging from a tree with a bunch of men around her hoping that either she will hang herself or the ice will melt so it does it for her. While two other men talk about other things.
This woman happens to become “the bonus” and so the story starts. This is a darker story with some BDSM involved. But does have a happy ending. I did enjoy this book and all that it entails and was so happy to go to the next book.
Book 2: Songbird:
This book drops you right in the middle of a new story with the big boss Arturo Vazquez whom we met in the first story The Bonus. While Arturo is doing what he does best killing people he meets Solitaire, a woman so much like him it is scary. These two are wonderful characters and I devoured this story. Just to know you don’t have to read these stories in order and always make sure you read the warnings from the author!
Book 3: Dirty Dealings:
This is another story that I LOVED. Quique is a lower man on the totem pole and his wife is a real skank. He has done everything he can to keep her happy but she just loves men. So we see all of this unfold. After he asks for a divorce from the family he is asked to go overseas to work out some issues for the family. There he meets Natalie. These two get on each other’s nerves and yet the chemistry is off the hook. What a great book to bring everyone together again.
Book 4: Dark Hunter:
I love this “family”, and by that, I mean everyone involved in the Zeta Cartel. Yes, these are darker romance and somewhat erotic but there are romance and intrigue involved also. And this 4th book brings that out. There is also something else to say about how this author writes, I have read all of these books in order but by means do you have to which is something you can rarely say.
This story is wonderful and a must read if you enjoy anything that I have mentioned in any of my reviews for these books! I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.
Joy Westerfield – “I’m still an emotional mess after reading the end. I can’t wait for the next book in this series!”
Two Darlin Dolls and a Book Review – “Wow..okay…WTH…that ending??? I’m stunned and at a loss for words right now.”
KAILEE REESE SAMUELS has been spinning tales since she can remember. Her books are contemporary fiction with a no-holds-barred attitude. She adores listening to her character’s ramble and putting them into situations that push the boundaries.

So I am having a hard time forming this review. First off this is my first Kailee Reese Samuels story so I had no idea what exactly I was getting into.
This is a story of a young woman (Iris) finding the love of her life and after a very short time loosing him.
Iris is given a box when her husband’s will is read. With this box she in bark’s on an adventure that will take her to a whole different world.
That is the easy part to write, what happens at Juliet is a weird and messed up and well what probably happens all the time in places. So yes, I find some of the things that happen in this book messed up, but the core of the story is wonderfully told. The characters are complexed, wicked, and sexy. I couldn’t put the story down and this is not a story you can skim. You have to read every word.
Salt Kissed Love:
So after reading Juliet ( and you have to read Juliet before reading this one) and meeting all the unique characters from this town and BDSM school/club. With this story, we get Sal learning more about himself with Iris as his main event. Iris is also growing up and learning to embrace herself when it comes to this life. This book is so much more than just about BDSM although it is the main event. We again see the characters from Juliet and the wonders that came from that story. The emotions fly off the pages of this book, so much so that you can not put it down. There is a lot of layers going on in this book but it is so worth reading it. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.
