Once upon a time she became mine.

Mine to hunt.
A criminal psychologist and a serial killer.
The love between them shouldn’t exist.
Or so the world thinks.
Her mission is to find him.
His single obsession is to catch her.
The hunter and the prey.
Let the games begin, and may the stronger one win.

Holy crap. As you can see from the title this book takes you into a very dark area. This is not a sweet and innocent, although at some points in this book there are tearful moments.

This book takes you into the BAU (like Criminal Minds) where this group helps local cops find killers. When bodies show up dismembered the group is called in. But there is a new member and Ella is intrigued. With her own history, the BAU seems to be the perfect fit with finding killers. But when this killer decides to make Ella his special project can her life be in danger?

Kierian is part of the BAU group along with some other great characters. But he and Ella had a one night stand before she became part of the group. So they decide to see where their relationship can go while outside of the office. But what happens when a serial kill goes after his woman?

Ms. Mason kicks ass with this book! You never know what you are going to get when you turn the next page. The twist and turns and misdirects will drive you crazy but you won’t be able to stop reading until the end. I loved it.

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy for my honest review.

V.F.Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her momma over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn’t happen.

Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it.When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.
