Author Bio
Crazy woman from a remote location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since … forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball – I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I’m clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there’s your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair – both a curse and a blessing – and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can’t
understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

The explosive finale of The Cloister Series.

Trapped.

Beaten.

Broken.

Adam destroyed himself to save me. At first, I doubt if I have the strength to go on. But with every second that passes, I seethe and curse the Prophet. My time as a Maiden is over. I refuse to be a toy in his game any longer. But there’s always more ways for the Prophet to get to me, to use me, and to keep me under his influence. Will I be strong enough to break free?

REVIEW⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Church is the final of this wonderful series. We start where The Prophet ended. Aaron is in a bad way and Emily/Delilah is just trying to survive now not knowing if Aaron will live or die.

Noah has to finally come to terms with his family and what happened to Georgia. Is Noah going to grow up and finally going to become what he should? Or will he go down with the church his father grew?

Adam and Emily have grown throughout these books. Their love is epic and no matter what is thrown at them they overcome it. Emily is strong and knows life is worth fighting for. I loved that. She is a such a wonderful character. Adam has grown into such a great man and character. I wasn’t too sure of him in the beginning but I LOVE him. He has shown his true colors throughout this whole series and comes out the end as one of the great heroes.

I can’t save myself from the Cloister, and maybe I never could. The Prophet grows more dangerous by the day. His delusions are steeped in blood, and if I’m not careful, that blood will be my own. Despite the growing risk, I still continue the search for the truth, no matter if the thorny path eventually twists back to Adam, guilt in his dark eyes. I’ve seen glimpses of his soul, and I know there is more to him than the monster, but it’s so hard to reach him. I knew when I came here that I’d have to fight, I just didn’t realize the war would be waged on so many fronts.

Author’s Note: If you have a trigger, this book will pull it.

The Prophet starts where the last book “The Maiden” ends. Delilah has been caught and is in big trouble. She is being held and tortured. Adam is beside himself for bringing her back to the Cloister but he had no choice. He knew that if he didn’t they both would be killed.

When Delilah is finally released Adam can’t stay away from her. He knows he is being watched by his father and the rest of the Cloister but he can’t seem to help himself. But when someone decides they want to buy Delilah he will do ANYTHING to save her. Even if it puts him in the crosshairs of everyone.

Delilah and Adam are two sides of the same coin. The good and the bad. I love it. Adam is doing everything he can to stay alive so he can protect the ones he loves even if they don’t want to be saved.
But there are things going on that even he doesn’t know. And when he finds out all hell is going to break loose. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy for my honest review.

I joined the Cloister to find the truth. But I’ve discovered so much more, and the darkness here is seducing me, pulling me down until all I can think of is him. Adam Monroe, the Prophet’s son, a dark prince to an empire that grows by the day. He is tasked with keeping me safe from the wolves of the outside world. But the longer I stay at the Cloister, the more I realize the wolves are already inside and under the Prophet’s control. If Adam discovers the real reason I’m here, he’ll bay for my blood with the rest of them. Until then, I will be Delilah, an obedient servant of the Prophet during the day and Adam’s Maiden at night.

REVIEW

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been a fan of Celia’s since I read the Aquisition Series, and man was that a dark and screwed up story. I had been waiting to see if she would come out with something else like that, well guess what, here it is!

The Cloister is a messed up story about religion, sex, drugs, and murder. This is one mindf*c# story and we are only in the first book! We start with the chosen 12 girls being taken into the fold of the Heavenly Ministries where they will get their protectors. The protectors make sure these girls are trained and commanded so they will please the Prophet.

Delilah is one of these girls. She is chosen by the Prophet’s son Adam, the oldest son, who has darkness in him. But when you start reading you can tell he doesn’t believe a word his father says. He is there because he has to be. He is nothing like the rest but has no other option.

When Adam and Delilah get together there is something about them that stands out. But Adam has to be careful because he knows that his father the Prophet will do anything to destroy what he finds Adam wants. And Adam knows there is something different about Delilah and he will do anything to find out what it is.

There is a lot of sexual training that goes on in this story, so if you are squeamish this is probably not the story for you. There are some triggers, but not many for me, just the training that got to me in some spots. There is forced drug use, also. But the story is wonderfully told and the characters are strong. If you are looking for a full-length novel that will keep you on your toes, this is the story for you. But it does end on a cliff-hanger and there are two more books to go.

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy for my honest review.
