Where romance finds the light

About Me

Romance on the Brain

I want to introduce myself. My name is Tai (Tie) and I love to read romance and sometimes mystery novels. I am a wife to my sometimes (haha) wonderful husband Jason. We have been married it seems all my life since I was 20 when we got married. I do have to say that Jason knew what he was getting into when he married me when it came to my book collection. I do have to say the Kindle has made moving my book collection around a LOT easier for him, lol. Jason and I are vagabonds by heart, we have moved around the country in our RV for almost 10 years and have just now settled in Montana for a while. He is working and I am in school to start a career to become an editor in a publishing house.

How my Passion Started:

I remember in sixth grade trying to find a book in the school library that would hold my attention. I had already read most of the Goosebumps, Nancy Drews, Hardy Boys, and other books for that age. While visiting my grandmother I took a look at her book collection. Seeing different authors, and reading about love stories at that age, when my family life was horrible was something different. I asked and was allowed to read my very first Danielle Steel book. What an eye-opener for someone that age. I was in love. I wanted more and had to have it. I devoured my grandmother’s books. I hit every used book store in town and bought every Danielle Steel book I could find. I found authors like Nora Roberts, Johanna Lindsey, Judith McNaught, and so much more. I have been reading pretty much nonstop since then. My reading habits have changed and if you read my blog, you will see my tastes have changed and has changed over time which is to be expected. I still go back to my old favorites and reread them, I have boxes of books that the hubby still has to move around when we move from state to state. And I still add to those boxes.

The Future:

I hope to continue to do what I love while I am in school. School will, of course, take over quite a bit of my time since it is my future. BUT I don’t think I could ever go without my books or romance. Everyone needs an escape and books happen to be mine. I am building and constantly redoing and updating my blog, FB page, Instagram, Twitter, and Bookbub pages so go ahead and follow! Please feel free to contact me at any time to chat, question, or to ask me to promo. I am usually available unless I am studying.

🙂 I will always get back to you either way.
