About Acquisition:

Book 1-
In the heart of Louisiana, the most powerful people in the South live behind elegant gates, mossy trees, and pleasant masks. Once every ten years, the pretense falls away and a tournament is held to determine who will rule them. The Acquisition is a crucible for the Southern nobility, a love letter written to a time when barbarism was enshrined as law.
Now, Sinclair Vinemont is in the running to claim the prize. There is only one way to win, and he has the key to do it — Stella Rousseau, his Acquisition. To save her father, Stella has agreed to become Sinclair’s slave for one year. Though she is at the mercy of the cold, treacherous Vinemont, Stella will not go willingly into darkness.
As Sinclair and Stella battle against each other and the clock, only one thing is certain: The Acquisition always ends in blood.
Full disclosure: This book is a dark romance with elements of slavery, violence, BDSM, and super-hot sex. It is the first of a series and ends on a cliffhanger. If you’re good with these caveats, enjoy.

Book 2-
Lucius Vinemont has spirited me away to a world of sugar cane and sun. There is nothing he cannot give me on his lavish Cuban plantation. Each gift seduces me, each touch seals my fate. There is no more talk of depraved competitions or his older brother – the one who’d stolen me, claimed me, and made me feel things I never should have. Even as Lucius works to make me forget Sinclair, my thoughts stray back to him, to the dark blue eyes that haunt my sweetest dreams and bitterest nightmares. Just like every dream, this one must end. Christmas will soon be here, and with it, the second trial of the Acquisition.

Full disclosure: This book is a dark romance with elements of slavery, violence, BDSM, and super-hot sex. It is the second book of a trilogy and ends on a cliffhanger. If you’re good with these caveats, enjoy.

Book 3-
The Acquisition has ruled my life, ruled my every waking moment since Sinclair Vinemont first showed up at my house offering an infernal bargain to save my father’s life. Now I know the stakes. The charade is at an end, and Sinclair has far more to lose than I ever did.

But this knowledge hasn’t strengthened me. Instead, each revelation breaks me down until nothing is left but my fight and my rage. As I struggle to survive, only one question remains. How far will I go to save those I love and burn the Acquisition to the ground?

Celia takes you to a whole other world with this series. Sinclair needs an Acquisition and Stella is what he wants and what he gets. This book is a powerful story on what a woman can and will go through to save herself and the people she loves. I could not put this book down the first or second time I read it.

About Not Marriage Material

For the first time the complete duet from bestselling author Violet Paige is available in one book!

Not Husband Material
Tick-tock…that’s the sound of my biological clock.

I have a plan to have a baby on my own,
But one night with my old high school crush changes everything.
Professional athlete. Player. Billionaire. I don’t care.
There’s nothing I want more than a baby, and he’s ready to give me exactly what I want.
There’s just one tiny catch.

If I want to inherit the family fortune I need a wife and a baby.
No one said anything about love.
Let’s make this simple.
Evie is gorgeous, single, and our chemistry lights the sheets on fire.
I’ll make her my wife. She’ll have our kid.
Only I never expect to want more of her.
Now I spend the nights making sure my name’s on her lips and her naked body is next to mine.
We have to convince everyone this marriage is real, but what if the tables turn on me?
What if there’s nothing fake about us?
I’m the man meant to keep this family together, and I’ll do whatever it takes to prove it to her.

Not Daddy Material
It’s official…I’m a fake wife in a fake marriage.
But we’re going to have a baby,
And nothing is more real than that.

I swore things would be simple.
No strings. No love.
But on our honeymoon, we barely come up for air, and that’s when I realize Evie is my wife in every way.
I can’t get enough of her. I don’t want to.
Now she’s having my baby.
I’m not sure I can be the man she needs me to be.
But I swear, I’ll do what it takes to keep our new family together.

4 1/2 stars
Book 1- Not Husband Material
I really enjoyed this book. It does end on a cliffhanger 😭 but that’s okay.
Jeremy is a strong character that is not a happy man with his father’s will. So when he ends up at a restaurant and sees an old “friend” from school. Evie works at her families restaurant and is wanting a baby no man just a baby. She has higher goals than being a waitress. So Jeremy comes up with an idea they can get married, he can give her a baby, which she desperately wants and he can get his billions which he will share with her. But he wants nothing to do with the child. Since he knows he will never be a good father.
Even though Evie has second thoughts she still goes through with it.
These two characters are really great. And I really did enjoy them. Although I did go down a star since it did end on a cliffhanger 😦 But I will defiantly read the next one!
I am excited for the next one.

Book 2- Not Daddy Material

So we start off where we left off in book 1. These two are heading off to a honeymoon that neither thought or really wanted. Well, I guess Evie did but she would never would have told him.
Jeremy is trying to keep his business together and now it is time to get Evie pregnant. What better place than a honeymoon. But while Jeremy is gone things start going sideways with his business.

So I did like this second book. But I felt rushed. Evie does get pregnant (of course), but we lose something in this story that we had in the first one. Evie and Jeremy love each other in this second book, which is wonderful, they are getting their baby, great! And yes there is a problem with Jermery’s business having issues, but I don’t know everything seemed to have to be done fast. Again I enjoyed the box set and it was a good read. I would reread it again.
