Scoring With the Wrong Twin:
Shy, awkward Sophia Cruz has a hard time telling her vivacious identical twin “no.” But when her sister begs her to swap places for a modeling shoot, she caves … again. Then Zephirin Black walks onto the set. The brooding, aloof, and gorgeous tight end for the Washington Warriors. But she can keep it professional… She has to. Because the adorkable Cruz twin has no luck with guys once they compare her to her sister.
After a bad break-up, Zeph hasn’t been big on second chances—and even less with trust. But he finds himself giving please-call-me-by-my-middle-name-Sophia both. The woman he’d dismissed as a spoiled cover model is different from the first time he met her. Quirkier. Funnier. Definitely sexier. What started as one night turns into another…and another…and another…
Still, Sophia can’t go on keeping her secret from him. But telling Zeph the truth will mean losing him for good.

Scoring Off the Field
Tennyson Clark is getting a life. First step: quitting her job as assistant to Dominic Anderson, star quarterback for the Washington Warriors, her best friend…and the man she’s been secretly in love with for years. But since the gorgeous, if overprotective playboy has only ever seen her as his BFF, she’s finally ready to relinquish her tattered fantasy and move on. Enter steps two and three: new job and new man.
Football is Dominic’s life, and with his contract soon up for renewal, all his focus needs to be on the game. But Tennyson—dependable, logical Tennyson—is making that next to impossible with her mysterious new job and her sudden interest in online dating. He doesn’t do relationships. But the thought of another man touching her sexier-than-hell curves has him suddenly wanting more from his best friend.
Indulging in hot, dirty, what’s-my-name sex with no strings and lots of benefits is simple, uncomplicated…until it’s not.

For my first Naima Simone book, I have to say I loved it! Friends to lovers are one of my favorite types of books.
This one is wonderfully written and the characters are great. I love when I can laugh out loud with a book.
Dom is a great guy. He is a football player and does everything so that he can stay the best. But he also makes sure that his life is better for his best friend Tenny so that he can pay it forward as it is.
Tenny follows Dom to Seattle when he is drafted there and becomes his PA. While doing that she gets two degrees and is still in love with Dom (secretly) but keeps having her life circle around him. But now is time for her to make a life away from him. So when she announces that she is quitting and starts really dating, Dom freaks out. What will he do without his best friend?
Great story!

About Scoring the Player’s Baby
After a divorce from her cheating football player ex, PR whiz Kim Matlock would rather drive a pine tree through her walled-off heart than work at the Seattle Wedding Expo. And the last thing she expects is to be grabbed and kissed breathless by a hot giant of a man looking to fend off a stalker. She doesn’t want emotional entanglements, but she can’t say no to one scorching night with the sexy stranger.
To her shock, she finds out afterward that a) he’s a pro football player, aka her kryptonite, and b) she’s pregnant.
But nothing could have prepared her for his response…

So I have read Scoring off the Field and loved it, and I could wait for this book. But for whatever reason, I kept getting distracted and missing this one. But I finally found the time and was able to get to it. Man, I wish I had found time earlier. I loved this story. It made me laugh, cry, and laugh some more.
Kim is a woman that is a year out of her divorce from a dick of a football player. He cheated on her and made her feel less of everything. She has a history of men walking away from her and she is just so tired of it. But she doesn’t have the spirit or fight in her to make a change.
When Ronan sees Kim at a wedding expo he knows he wants her. So when a stalker shows up he uses Kim as a block and gets to kiss her. They trade numbers and he lets Kim set the pace. When she decides to get a hold of him that night. They both use each other to forget their past. Little does he know what that one night might bring.
Ronan is a wonderful character. He has a lot going on in his life, but he makes time and effort with Kim even when she tries to push him away. He might not want love any more than she does but sometimes you don’t always get what you want.
I loved this story and am happy to have read it. I can’t wait to see where Naima brings us next.

About Going Down Hard
I’ve only loved one man in my life.
Gavin O’Leary.
He destroyed me.
Not because he loved me.
Not because he hated me.
But because he had no idea who I was.
He was the popular guy with the chiseled abs, dark tan and perfect hair.
The type that only dated the perfect-ten cheerleader.
I was the nerd who hated high school and couldn’t wait to say goodbye.
The last thing I expected was to see him again twelve years later.
Only this time—he notices me.
This time—he kisses me.
This time saying goodbye to Gavin O’Leary might destroy me.

Yes, this is a shorter book by Jordan Marie. But it is a wonderful story. A story about young love never dealt with and when the two meet again things are a lot different. Casey is trying to make her way through Hollywood doing makeup for the actors.Gavin is stunt devil to his friend Aden when he bumps into Casey. These two are wonderful characters and I loved this story.

About In Too Deep:
I did a really bad thing.
I’m not a bad person, I swear.
I just made a few mistakes.
Mistake number one was agreeing to rent my hotel out to an insufferable a**hole, named Aden Smith.
Mistake number two was ignoring his threats to sue me when he handed over a list of items he deemed “unacceptable”.
Mistake number three was saving his life when he fell. It would have been less complicated to hide his body.
When the hospital refuses to let me know how he is, I panic. Claiming to be his wife might be my biggest mistake yet—especially when he believes me!

As always Jordan Marie brings the most emotions out of her writing. I laughed, cried, and was plain mad at Aden and Holly at times. We met Aden in the last book and we knew or should have known that he has some major issues with trust and women. Not all the time together but some major issues all the same. So when he goes to hide out in Idaho with one of the only people in the world that don’t know who he is things take a weird a turn.
Holly has a lot of things in her life going on and having some intitled man show up and treating her like crap is the last thing she needed. So when she finds herself in a little bit of trouble she finds herself lying to the one person she finds herself loving.
Yes, these two should probably not be together but they just might find happily ever after.

About Taking it Slow:
A bottle of tequila
10 lime wedges
1 sexy blonde
Add in a crazy Vegas weekend
Lick and Swallow.
What do you get? A recipe for disaster.

Last night I got married.
I think.
I was drunk, so it’s not exactly crystal clear.
But I woke up with a ring on my finger, a marriage certificate, and a sneaking suspicion I had a wild wedding night.
Oh, and a bride who is long gone.
Apparently, what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay here.
Sometimes it takes off running.

Oh my god, I loved this book. I love this family. I love this storyline.
Faith and Titan have one wild night, which in the first chapter you can figure out all on your own. Jordan is not afraid to describe in detail what these two do 🙂 But when Faith figures out that they are married, she hits the bricks. There is no way she is going to stay around and be told she isn’t wanted.
Titan wakes up and finds he is married but no wife can be found. But when he does find her, HAHA now the fun begins. Not only does he have to deal with Faith and her craziness if that is what you want to call it. But her family and Ida Sue. Whom we all love!
This is a must-read and one click!

About Sweet Spot:
Our first meeting as neighbors was screwed from the start.
He was hot. I was naked. And we had no chance in hell at ever being platonic.
I’ll be the first to admit that I live at extremes. After going ten years locked in what felt like a dysfunctional marriage, I’m now decidedly boy-free. In nearly three years I’ve had no boyfriends, no flings, no dates and no sex. For the sake of my dream career, the sacrifice has been easy.
At least it was.
Until he came along.
Lukas Hendricks. He’s rude, gorgeous, arrogant – a stone-carved wall of muscle and distraction. He’s everything I know to avoid but there’s no avoiding your next-door neighbor. Oh yeah. The man now lives three steps from me and to make matters worse, he crashed into my life while I was relaxed in the tub – mortifying to say the least and it went something like this: I was exposed. He looked. He laughed.
And then I locked myself out.
In short, Lukas Hendricks was trouble from the start. And me?
I was – for the first time in years – about to be screwed.

So I was offered this book through Hidden Gems and I am so glad I got it. This is such a freaking awesome book that I was upset when I had to put it down to do something else. This book sucks you right in and doesn’t let you go. I loved Lukas and Lia, and their chemistry is off the chart. These two made me laugh, cry, hot, and root for them. And I really enjoyed the secondary characters as well.
This is a must read! And it won’t be my last Stella Rhys novel!

About Bad Boss:
He was supposed to be my first and only one-night stand.
He was definitely never supposed to become my boss.

I had always been the good girl – the workaholic with every second of her life mapped out to a tee.
Then I got trapped in an elevator with Julian Hoult.
He was… irresistible. Sophisticated sex in a crisp white shirt. His voice alone dropped me straight to my knees. What was I supposed to do?
I can tell you what I was definitely not supposed to do.
I was not supposed to run into him ever again. I was not supposed to be desperately unemployed, and I was definitely not supposed to accept his dirty little job offer.
But I couldn’t resist.
As CEO of the Hoult Media empire, Julian will stop at nothing to get what he wants. So for his next venture with Manhattan’s most lecherous billionaires, he’s hired me to play the role of bait. And while my official title is that of Executive Assistant, my actual job requires low tops, tight skirts and flaunting everything I’ve got till his clients are easy to bend – till they can barely think for themselves anymore.
It’s sleazy and wrong. Against everything I’ve worked for. But with Julian as my audience, I can’t help but enjoy every second. Thanks to him, I’m embracing the bad, and I swear…
I’ve never in my life felt this damned good.

About Dirty Deeds:
Growing up, we hated each other.
Now, we’re f**kin’ roommates for the summer.

It’s been twelve years since I’ve seen him, but loathing Emmett Hoult still runs in my blood. Thanks to the hell he wreaked on my teenaged life, I’ve avoided the prick like the plague. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and after a fire destroys my apartment during the most important week of my life, I’m suddenly as desperate as they come.
Hence the roommate situation.
It’s his summer home. His family said he wouldn’t be around. They said I’d never run into him.
But oh, did I run into Emmett Hoult.
And in the worst way possible.
I didn’t expect to see her ever again, let alone the way that I did.
But now that she’s back in my life, I’m not screwing things up. She still hates me — I know that — but it won’t stop me from chasing the only two goals I’ve made for this summer.
Making things right.
And making her mine.

I loved this book! Two people that were friends when they were younger had a falling out. Aly and Emmett were rivals as children. But only to themselves. And even though they thought themselves rivals they still stayed friends. But when something bad happens Aly blames Emmett and things fall apart.
Years later Aly needs a place to stay and Emmett’s mom offers Aly Emmett’s house, thinking he will be gone all summer. So when Aly meets a hot guy at a club and goes home with him, it surprises both of them when his house turns out to be the same house as the one she just moved into.
These two have the hots for each other now, and a lot of history to get over. Will they both get over the hurt they put each other through?
I did read the first book with this family in it, missed the second one, but didn’t feel like I was missing anything. I will go back and read the second book just because I want to. Great book.

About Hothead:
He’s the hottest player in Major League Baseball, the most notorious playboy in all of Manhattan…
And my fake fiancé for the next three months.

I was drunk-dialing my ex the night I met him.
Six-three, sexy as sin and so incredibly rude I could smack the asshole smirk right off his face. Long story short, we got off to a bad start. But when the tabloids interpret our sparring as Drew Maddox “groveling” with a “mystery brunette,” his agent presents us both a proposal:
Shacking up as a couple this summer.
It’s an alleged “win-win.” I need to prove to my ex that I’m fine. Drew needs to prove to his team that he’s stable. Thanks to his on-field brawling and never-ending lady drama, Drew Maddox has suddenly found himself on the trade block – which means he needs a fast, easy way to show the team that he’s settled down.
Hence this fiance thing.
Our fights are real, our kisses are fake, and thanks to the nonstop heat between us, I’m starting to mix up all my signs. But whether it’s real or fake, there’s one thing I do know:
I’m already addicted.

I love Stella Rhys stories!
Evie is an awesome character. She is trying to get over her ex, when she is overheard by Drew., while she is on the phone drunk dialing him. Drew decides to stick his nose where it doesn’t belong. And so begins a wonderful friend to lover story.
Drew is a classic athlete. He doesn’t trust anyone, he thinks everyone should bow down to him, and he wants to stay with his team. But he will have to be a good boy for the next 3 months or he could be traded.
So he and Evie decide to help each other. But Evie doesn’t fall for Drew’s charms. And all Drew wants is Evie. Who will win?

Where We Ended

About Where We Began:
I’m a hostage.
The food is fancy, the carpets are lush, but this bed isn’t mine. I’m only here because of my father’s enemies.
I hate all of them. Except for him.
The first time I meet Dominic Bradley, he saves me without a second thought. This kind boy is nothing like the rest of his family. Our friendship comes easy.
When he leaves for six years it shreds my soul.
It’s nothing compared to when he comes back.
He’s turned into a hardened soldier with hungry eyes; a man that makes my heart race.
A man that wants to hate me while also aching to be my first kiss. My first everything.
He acts like we’re enemies, like he’s forgotten our past. But I can’t.
It’s impossible to forget the moment I fell in love.
I know where we began.
I’m not sure where we’ll end.

Where We Began is the first book of the Duet out by Nora Flite.
We meet Laiken and her family at the beginning of this book. She is young, carefree and free-spirited. But when she and her sister come home and there are strange people in her home telling her that someone will be taken that day, her or her sister, she freaks out. One of the sisters must leave the family to make sure that the father stays in line.
When Laiken gets to her new home she meets Dominic, the son of her new “family”. They become fast friends when nobody wants them to. But the family makes sure it doesn’t last long. Dominic is made to leave for military school within a month of the meeting.
Fast forward 6 years. Laiken is ready to head home to her family, Dominic is coming home and life seems to be coming together. Then all hell breaks loose.
This is a slow-burn, on the darker side, but not to dark, twisted to become a love story. We end on a pretty big cliffhanger and I really have no idea how or where Nora is going to go with this story. But I am intrigued and can’t wait to see where she goes.

About Where We Ended:
Laiken has finally heard the dark rumors about me.
Everyone who hears runs away. But she can’t.
She’s trapped here, in my house–with me.
Each minute we’re together I’m driven to swallow her up. To see if the electricity that moves between us will grow or vanish. I thought we were falling in love. Now, I’m sure that she hates my very existence.
But when she glares at me… I see a flicker of desire in her blue eyes. The way she fixates on my mouth reminds me of how filthy we’ve been.
How filthy we could be.
My father has warned me to stay away from her. He knows she’s become my weakness. All my life, I just wanted to be the perfect soldier for him. To do everything he asked so he’d be proud.
I thought I could.
Laiken is doing her best to prove me wrong.

What a wonderful ending to this twisted love. Not only do we see the final to Lakin and Dominic’s love story but there is so much more to everyone’s story that it will blow your mind.
Lakin is holding on by a thread at this point. Her sister is finally with her. Dominic secret is out and Lakin is trying to wrap her mind around it. But as always, Dominic’s family needs her to find her father and will do anything to make it happen.
This is one twisted family and the secrets are deep. I loved it.

About Luke:
Being in love with your best friend’s girlfriend isn’t a picnic. And guarding a secret isn’t, either. But losing your heart to a girl who’s clueless she owns it?
Yeah. That’s damn near unbearable.
This is my story. The one told by a guy who doesn’t get the girl.
*To be read after you’ve experienced Liv.

About Breezy:
A zero fraternization policy. A sexy new boss. And a girl who’s hell-bent on breaking the rules.
Derrick made a big mistake when he told me he doesn’t date employees. It’s like he just placed a giant piece of chocolate cake in front of me and told me not to touch it. What else does he expect me to do?
You think you can resist me, Derrick? Challenge accepted.
I knew she was trouble. The minute I met her, I could tell she was a hurricane. Sweeping in and causing chaos wherever she goes. But, she has no idea who she’s dealing with.
You think this is a game, Breezy? Bring it on.

Love Kelsie style of writing
So I am in total love of Kelsie’s style of writing if you are a fan of fun-loving, clean, and non-dirty reading this is an author for you.
Breezy is such a fun loving all over kind of character. She sees what she wants and goes for it. When she finally gets the job she has been craving she finds that her boss is the someone that she could see in her bed. Too bad he doesn’t want anything to do with her, or so she thinks.
Derrick was hurt in college and has learned not to trust any woman in life or business. So when Bree starts showing that she wants more than just business. But he will not be hurt again, so no matter what she does he will stay away from her. But when she starts dating his best friend things get serious fast.
Sometimes it’s nice just to read a good lovable book with great characters that you just love. That is this one.

About Jude:
I’ve been asked to compete in an online gaming championship and I can almost taste the victory on my lips.
But then my assistant coach arrives.
I can’t get distracted. Not when I’m so close to achieving my dreams. My eyes are on the prize. But I can’t help but wonder… is my focus on the right one?
When I was asked to be the new assistant coach, I almost turned it down. That is, until I found out I’d be teaching the up-and-coming celebrity, Quincy Philips.
She has no idea what she’s getting into by competing in a world full of men.
It looks like I’ll need to educate her. But can I keep my hands to myself as I try?

Every time I read another book of Kelsie I fall more in love with these characters. This time we get Jude, whom I fell for in the last book. We all knew he needed a wonderful lady that would keep him on his toes and not fall for his charms right away. Well, he found that someone in Quincy.
Quincy is a 19-year-old gamer that has more than enough on her plate. With her father very sick and she just signed her very first gaming contract she does not need a man right now. So when Jude starts showing her interest she really doesn’t know what to do.
I love the give and take with these characters. Quincy is not a people person at all. And Jude is used to getting what he wants when he wants it. These two have to learn to deal with each other to get their happy ever after.
This is a must-read story with wonderful characters.

About Rhett:
Fact: The can’t-eat, can’t-sleep kind of love doesn’t exist.
My relationship is realistic. Convenient. Solid. I thought I was happy.
And then I met him.
My new neighbor.
The guy who’s starting to make me question everything. Making me wonder if maybe, just maybe, I could be wrong.
I’ve never been afraid to go after what I want.
And then I met my new neighbor.
Our chemistry is off the charts, our banter is on point, and her body is out of this world.
So why does she turn to ice as soon as I mention a date? Even when her eyes linger longer than necessary?
She’s hiding something.
And I’m going to find out what it is.

About Sophie:
I never wanted to see Nathan again. Ever.
One highly educational night with him in bed was all it took to hand over my v-card. Apparently, that was all it took to get him to move across the country without a backwards glance, too.
Our best friends are getting married and I’ve been asked to play nice, but I can’t promise he’ll make it through the weekend in one piece.
The only problem is that I’m not sure my heart will survive, either.
I don’t do feelings. I don’t do relationships. And I sure as hell don’t do love. Ever.
One crazy hot night with Sophie was all it took to remind me why. She gets under my skin and makes me want things I definitely don’t need.
I’m here to be the best man to her maid-of-honor at a destination wedding in paradise, but close proximity to all things Sophie just might push me over the edge.
It’s one long weekend with the woman I can’t stop dreaming about no matter how hard I try.
I can do this, right?

Author: L.J. Shen

About Kiss Thief:
They say your first kiss should be earned.
Mine was stolen by a devil in a masquerade mask under the black Chicago sky.
They say the vows you take on your wedding day are sacred.
Mine were broken before we left church.
They say your heart only beats for one man.
Mine split and bled for two rivals who fought for it until the bitter end.
I was promised to Angelo Bandini, the heir to one of the most powerful families in the Chicago Outfit.
Then taken by Senator Wolfe Keaton, who held my father’s sins over his head to force me into marriage.
They say that all great love stories have a happy ending.
I, Francesca Rossi, found myself erasing and rewriting mine until the very last chapter.
One kiss.
Two men.
Three lives.
Entwined together.
And somewhere between these two men, I had to find my forever.

This story blew my mind; I honestly could not put it down. Shen brings a tale of young love and passion forward and then destroys it.

Francesca is a princess and has been treated as one her whole life. She has known whom she wanted to marry since she was a child and now it was time to make it happen. When she finally gets the nerve to kiss the man she has wanted all her life, Francesca finds she has kissed the wrong man.

Wolfe is a man that gets what he wants. Moreover, he wants to destroy Francesca’s father, but she was never part of the plan until he sees her in action. Now he will make her his at any cost. However, if she thinks this is a real marriage or will become one, she has another thing coming.

I have to say that Francesca is the whole book. Usually, the man takes center stage and becomes the sole person you want to change. However, in this story, I didn’t wish for Wolfe to improve as much as maybe see what was in front of him. Francesca may be young, but she is strong, mature, and takes Wolfe on like nothing else. It was a delightful story to read.

About Come to Daddy:
Rules for the new sugar baby:
1. Are you worth it? Hell yes you are, ten times over
2. Hustle big, hustle hard and get out fast
3. Never, ever fall for your sugar daddy
I’ve always believed “I’m not that sort of girl,” but with my father’s debt to a bloodthirsty crime lord to pay off I have no choice but to dip into the sugar bowl.
Misha, a handsome older billionaire, is willing to pay top price for me. Something about my daddy doesn’t add up but with a debt to pay I don’t have the luxury of being picky. I’m the luxury in his life, his fantasy to fulfil, and I’m going to play my part to the fullest.
My name is Ciara, and when daddy calls, I come.

I so loved this story. I am a huge Brianna Hale fan and I was excited to read this story and I have to say it was not a disappointment.

We have a bit of mystery when it comes to Misha, he is the second son of a bad man. His brother is a psychopath and Misha does everything he can to stay on his good side. But when Ciara gets on Damir’s bad side Misha knows he has to help save her.

Ciara has no idea how she is going to get out of Damir’s demands. So when she is told about a Sugar Daddy’s website she decides she has no other way to find the money she needs. Little does she know she is walking right into the lion’s den.

This book is wonderful. Neither one of these characters just falls in love. There is some give and take and Misha is not an easy man to fall in love with. But he is such a great character to read. I really did fall for him. I can’t wait to see what happens next with the other characters!
