Series: Irdesi Empire
Author: Addison Cain
 Book 1: Sigil
Book 2: Sovereign
Book 1: Sigil
Book 2: Sovereign

About Sigil
He will possess her in every way.

After a century, The Irdesi Emperor has finally cornered their species’ only female. Sovereign and his fanatic brothers are closing in, driving Sigil to desperation.

They outnumber her, they are stronger, and they are relentless.

Sovereign knows her secrets better than Sigil knows herself. He knows she was conditioned to hate him. It changes nothing. The Emperor cannot help but crave her—just as his loyal brothers crave her.

The entire future of their species hinges on Sovereign’s ability to dominate the slippery renegade and make her feel the truth of what she is. She is his Consort. She is his obsession—a bride destined to be shared with and adored by his kin… to be satiated and ruled, to be overpowered and healed of her compulsions by any means necessary.

She has no choice in the matter. The empire will stop at nothing. Sigil will belong to them; she will be made to love them, even if they are forced to rip the galaxy apart to claim her.

So this is my first Addison Cain book and I don’t usually read Syfy/romance books either. But I thought I would get out of my normal and try something new.
Sigil is diffidently that. It did take me a bit to get into it just because I again am not big on syfy books so all the extra information about the planet and such is not normal for me. But once I got over that and the story got going I was fine. The Sovereign and Quinn’s relationship (if that is what you want to call it) is something not normal at all but is what is needed to save their people.
If you like syfy romance this is a great book for you. I am going to read the second book so I do recommend this read. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for Hidden Gems for my honest review.

About Sovereign:

Sigil is owned.
Sovereign tends his reluctant consort day and night. His many Brothers lavish her with attention, each exercising their own brand of seduction to woo the grieving female.
Within the empire lurks a dangerous secret—one Sovereign and his Brothers are willing to risk the empire, their lives, and even Sigil’s sanity to conceal.
Is that not the definition of love?

About Dragon Blues:

Even immortal dragons can have crazy exes.
Belah’s ex is worse than most. Three thousand years ago, she and her old lover took their kinks just a step too far, and she’s been trying to get over it ever since. The problem is that her ex is still out there wreaking havoc on her world, while Belah spent the last three millennia in hiding.
With her race’s world changing, it’s time for Belah to show her face again. Finding a new mate should be easy for a dragon as powerful as her, but “baggage” is an understatement when your ex is your race’s mortal enemy.
Belah finds Lukas and Iszak North—not one, but two gorgeous, musically talented, and especially kinky brothers from one of the dragons’ sister races. The pair are perfect for Belah. Their race of falcon shifters mate for life—one look at Belah, and both North brothers know she’s their One. The problem is they have baggage of their own, and Belah’s ex is at the center of it.
When Belah’s ex decides he wants her back, she and her new mates learn there is more at stake than love, and fancy knots and an adeptly wielded whip might not be enough to find true happiness.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Although I did read the first version, I greatly enjoyed this one. I love Belah, all she wants is true love. And no matter how hard she tries it seems to bite her in the ass. Finally, after thousands of years, she just might have found it.
Ophelia has done it again!! This book is a sexy well-told story of love that will take you all over the world. This is a must read for anyone that loves dragons, sexy men, hot sex, and true love!

About Dragon Void

A woman born on the wind…
A Turul princess, Evie North has waited long enough for her “one true love” — a man she’s stopped believing truly exists. She throws caution—literally—to the wind and decides to take matters into her own hands. She chooses a handsome stranger from a crowd and falls into bed with him, hoping love might find her in his arms.
A human man drawn to powers beyond his comprehension…
The only thing Marcus Calais knows is that he’s likely to die in a pointless war but also honor-bound to run into battle. At least until he meets an angel named Evie in Central Park who incites stronger desires than he’s ever had and whose songs drive him to levels of passion he never imagined. After just one night with the lovely, waifish beauty, he discovers he has so much more to live for. Will he sacrifice his principles to stay alive for her?
The immortal dragon who owns both their souls…
“Ked” is what his five siblings call him, but others simply refer to the huge black dragon as The Void. He is darkness personified, but nothing is darker than the enemy he is up against. It will take true darkness to fight the evil permeating his world, and to save the female Fate intended for him. But Fate has a funny way of switching things up when he least expects. What will he find when he ventures forth into the enemy’s lair in search of love?
What other surprises does Fate have in store?

I want to point out that I read the first version first, and enjoyed that one. But I loved this one. This one had almost the same storyline for Evie, Ked, and Marcus. Their love story was wonderful and great with tragedy thrown in there. There is MFM, MMF, and some MM so if you do not like that I would stay away.
What I really liked about this version of the story is that Ophelia added Nikhil into it. Nikhil doesn’t take away from the main story that you want of the Void, but it adds and continues from the very first story. That I enjoy.
I am excited to see where Ophelia takes the next book.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

About Dragon Splendor

Nobody said finding your fated mates meant an instant happily ever after. But for Aurum, an immortal gold dragon gifted with the power of psychic empathy, love has never been simple.
Night after night, she has endured prophetic dreams about her pair of lovers, but finding them brings her no respite—the beautiful satyr, Calder, abandons her upon their first meeting, forsaking love for revenge, while royal ursa Nicholas…
Well, he looks nothing like the dark-haired man Fate promised her. So why does she find him so irresistible?
As war between ancient allies darkens the horizon, Aurum realizes the long-lost prince may hold the key to solving both her and Calder’s problems, bringing together the fated mates for good—as long as he doesn’t get them all killed first.
Their Fated connection doesn’t make things easy. But for Aurum, Calder, and Nicholas, victory might just go hand in hand with surrender where matters of the heart are concerned.

I don’t know what it is about Ophelia and her writing, but it just sucks you right in. These stories are not like anything you have read or probably ever will read anywhere else.
Aurum is one of the immortal dragons that has been waiting for mates for centuries. When her vision of her mate is standing in front of her and then leaves her, she will do anything she can to get him back.
Nicholas is left behind after Calder saves him from years of being locked up. Nicholas and Calder have been extremely close for a very long time. Calder doesn’t just leave Aurum he also leaves Nicholas.
This is a beautifully written love story between three people that have to find their way. I am so lucky to be part of the ARC group that got to read an advance copy for my honest review.
Fair warning this has m/m, m/m/f, and m/f/m sex scene. If this is not for you, do not read.

About Dragon Rebel:

If Assana looked up the word “nymphomaniac” in the dictionary, she might expect to find her own image in place of the definition, especially after meeting the immortal red dragon, Gavra. The timing couldn’t be worse for her to discover the mate that Fate intended—the one she’d be willing to let go of her tightly bound hold on her deepest sexual desires for—the one who literally drives her mad with lust. Now that she needs her sanity more than anything to regain control of her race’s home from her insane mother, she’s faced with the inconvenient desire to lose control and be that primal nymph she keeps locked inside.

Thank Gaia for Silas. The handsome young ursa male is blessed with magic that can calm the lust-filled madness threatening to consume Assana’s mind. She needs him more than ever now that she has no choice but to spend her days in close proximity to the dragon she desires, yet doesn’t dare touch lest she give in to that ancient, primal need all nymphaea are born with.

For red dragon Gavra, he can only put off having the beautiful nymph maiden for so long, or the ursa male who Fate has promised him. Once Assana’s crazy mother is out of the way, nothing will stop Gavra from claiming and marking them both as his.

As always Ophelia brings her story to life. This is a wonderfully hot story with characters you wish were real. I love how all the characters and the stories interact and the story flows from one to the other. This is a great addition to the others and I can not wait for the next one.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

About Dragon Guardian:

Time isn’t on Aodh’s side when he gets trapped in a magical prison on an island thousands of years in the past. The only people who can save him are an old lover he didn’t exactly part on good terms with, and the innocent ursa female whose true power
has yet to be unleashed as long as she remains a virgin.Aodh’s Fated Mates, Neph and Vrishti, have never met. When the ancient satyr and ursa princess finally do, they aren’t quite sure they can trust each other. Will they be able to overcome their misgivings enough to pool their powers and rescue the man they both love?
But even reunited, their journey isn’t over. Their mortal enemy is on the loose, and her hunger for power threatens to tear their entire world apart.

Everytime that Ophelia comes out with a new book, I jump at the chance to get her book. These are such great stories and this one is no different.
Aodh and Neph were lovers way back in the day. But when Meri got involved (because back then two males could not be involved by themselves) things got all kinds of screwed up. Aodh was banished to another time and Neph was banished to earth.
Vrishti is their intended mate. She goes to earth to find Neph so that they can go find Aodh. But to do that she will have to tap into her power.
This book, which if you have read an Ophelia book, you should know has lots of sex, intrigue, steam, power, a great storyline, and solid characters. Loved this story.

About Dragon Equinox:

With an all-out war waging in the Haven over control of the Source, immortal dragon Numa only cares about one thing: securing a powerful enough partner for a taxing ritual that will turn the tides of battle.
But Fate hasn’t made her task easy. Rather than show her who her fated mates are to be, the infuriating eternal entity she calls a father has made Numa the prize in a contest of the gods. Whoever wins the favor of Fate’s last unmated daughter shall have her as a partner. Numa sees this as an opportunity to secure a lover strong enough to complete the ritual, but isn’t prepared when all five contestants unexpectedly capture her heart. Love should not be a factor when her entire world is at risk, so Numa knows she must choose between them.
What does an immortal dragon do when given an impossible choice? She takes them all.

I LOVE LOVE Ophelia and her books. There is just something about her stories that drag you in and don’t let you go until the very last word.

Dragon Equinox is book 6 to this wonderful series. If you have not read this series YOU HAVE TO! It is hot, sexy, and there are mystical characters so of course, you will have hot men! LOL. I could not put this book down as always.

Great story!

Series: Twisted Fate
Author: Tami Lund
Book 1: Of Love and Darkness
Book 2: Prim and Proper Fate
Book 3: Prisoner of Fate
Book 1: Of Love an Darkness
Book 2: Prim and Proper Fate
Book 3: Prisoner of Fate

About Of Love and Darkness:

OF LOVE AND DARKNESS kicks off the new Twisted Fate shape-shifter series. There are two kinds of shifters: Rakshasa and Light Ones. Rakshasa want to snack on human bones. Light Ones want to protect the humans.
Unfortunately, the Rakshasa are currently winning the battle, as the Light Ones are not fertile. Only one type of Light One, exceedingly rare females called Chala, are able to produce offspring. The Rakshasa know this, and have managed to nearly decimate the population.
Enter Gavin Rowan, a cursed Rakshasa who believes he is a Light One. He feels all his Rakshasa urges to kill, but has been cursed to protect the Light Ones instead.
Throw Sydney Amataya into the mix. She is a Chala—except she doesn’t know it. At least not until Gavin saves her from a Rakshasa attack and then declares her as his mate.
But that’s not how Sydney operates. Encouraged by her cross-dressing Fate, William, she refuses Gavin’s claim. If he wants to mate with her—once she gets over the shock of discovering this supernatural world, that is—he’s going to have to woo her, impress her, wine and dine her. Romance her. She deserves no less, end of the world be damned.

So this is my first Tami Lund book and it was a little different from what I usually read. I do read paranormal books but I have never read anything like this. I loved these characters. Gavin is cursed and must fight his own kind. When he meets up with Sydney and she is attacked he finds out that the last of the other side is still alive and she is his mate. Sydney, on the other hand, has no idea what Gavin is talking about and thinks he is crazy.

This first book turns out to be a wonderful beginning to a love story with a lot of love and hope, but also the mystery of what is to come. I love William and even Brandon in this book. And can not wait to see what else happens.

About Prim and Proper Fate:

Brandon Haines hates Fates. As far as he’s concerned, they serve no good purpose.
Even Prim. She’s sex and candy walking, and he may not be able to get her out of his head, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to do anything about it.
Except now he needs her.
Because Gavin Rowan’s curse has been lifted, and Prim is the only one who can re-curse him. Otherwise, Brandon’s whole damn species will be annihilated.

So this one starts where the last one ended. Gavin is still cursed and he and Sydney are still in love but know that their love is on a short leash. But this book is more about saving Gavin when his curse is lifted by Killian by using one of Prim’s books without her knowing. So Brandon wants Prim’s help by putting the curse back on Gavin not only for Sydney’s love but for the rest of the Light Ones that are looking for his leadership.

This is a true love story not only about Gavin and Sydney but about Brandon finding his way back from the past and maybe finding his love with Prim. Again I love the characters in these books and the way they interact with each other. These are wonderful books with more story and sex where it is needed.

About Prisoner of Fate:

The bad guys are winning.
There are two types of shifters in the world: Rakshasa–the bad guys who want to destroy the world—and Light Ones—the good guys who want to protect it.
Lily’s one of the good guys, the last of her kind, the only one who can save their species.
She’s also a 170-year-old virgin who isn’t in a hurry to get tied down. And then she meets Matteo, a Rakshasa who has been a prisoner of the Fates for a thousand years. They should be mortal enemies. She shouldn’t strike up a friendship with the man. She certainly shouldn’t develop feelings for him. And while we’re listing don’ts, she definitely shouldn’t give the man her most precious commodity: her innocence.
Because otherwise who’s going to save humanity?

This book is the last of the series. It wraps everything up nicely and brings these characters out to their best. I have loved all of these books and I really hated to see them go but Tami brought the conclusion out nicely. Great book!

Series: Alexander Shifter Brothers
Author: Selina Coffey
Reading Source: ARC
Book 1 : Kane
Book 2: Cade
Book 3: Jacob
Book 1: Kane
Book 2: Cade
Book 3: Jacob

About Kane:

Kane hates rules, but he’s not afraid to break them… especially for the woman he desires.
Kane wants Damesha from the first time he lays eyes on her, plain and simple. But he knows how strict the clan rules are about outsiders, and he knows the Alpha, his own brother, is not going to make any exceptions for him.
But he will do whatever it takes to have Damesha, even if that means turning against all his brothers!
Damesha is about to discover her true gift… as she unwittingly enters into the world of the Alexander’s…
Something tells Damesha she has to be in Kansas. There’s something that she needs to find there; she calls it research but deep down she knows there’s more to it…
But she wasn’t expecting the to meet Kane… he draws her in like no man ever has. Way beyond her attraction to his sexy, perfectly sculpted body, there’s something more to him than that, and she needs to find out what that something is…

This is a good book. Yes, there is a few things I would change. The two person point of view could be better involved. Sometimes it took a bit to figure out whom we were supposed to be reading about.
The story was choppy in parts but overall a good read. I liked Kane and Damesha. Damesha is a strong woman that knows her mind, even when Cade and the rest of the family is screwing with her. Kade does everything he can to make life easy for the woman he loves even going against his family and the laws they live by.

About Cade:

Cade wants a wife but not love.
As head of the Alexander Shifter Clan, all he cares about is his duty to clan business, to family…
But they keep throwing women at him and he keeps rejecting them, again and again… and now rumors are spreading that maybe he doesn’t like women at all…
So he does what he does best, he handles the situation… by ordering himself a bride!
He could tell that Jacqui is a bit of an ice queen.
But he wasn’t expecting her to be so breathtakingly beautiful… he wasn’t expecting the electrifying attraction between them and he wasn’t expecting that she could be the true queen of the Alexander Shifter Clan.

I enjoyed Cade and Jacqui’s story. This is a story of two people that wanted nothing to do with love. Each has their own reason for wanting a loveless marriage so doing a mail in order bride is the best way for both of them. Jacqui has a history that proves men are not to be trusted, so putting love and trust into some man is not in the cards for her. Cade having seen what love does to people refuses to have that in his life. But sometimes love creeps in even when you fight it.
Great book with some drama involved outside of these two.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review

About Jacob:

War. Family. Love.
Jacob has always obeyed his brothers, his clan… until he meets Sabrina.

The battle is coming. The Alexander brothers are about to face an old enemy in the biggest fight of their lives and they’re not sure if they can win…

Jacob’s adopted brother, Jadrian, is in trouble with the vampires. Jacob knows being adopted by a shifter family must have made Jadrian feel like an outsider and he’ll do whatever it takes to help his brother, including getting involved with the vampire queen Sabrina. Though he isn’t sure he can trust her, his lust for her is undeniable.

But Sabrina has plans which go far beyond just mating, and Jacob may be the key…

Great ending to this series! This book was more of a twofer than anything else. We got Jacobs story and Jadrian’s. It was nice to also close out everyone else’s story. I am sure Selina could go further with others but it is a nice ending. The story is good, the sex hot, and the characters great. Wonderful read! I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

Series: Betania Breed
Author: Jenny Foster

Book 2: The Prey
Book 3: The Human
Book 4: The Dragon
Book 1: The Captive
Book 2: The Prey
Book 3: The Human
Book 4: The Dragon

About The Captive

His name is Khazaar Drasurq, and he is different from all the other men she knows.
He is dangerous.
He is unpredictable.
To Cassie, he is the most desirable man she has ever laid eyes on.
For Khazaar, on the other hand, she exists only to secure the survival of his race. She is a little cog in the big plan the possessive Alien lord is following.
As Cassie is thrown into his dangerous world, she soon realizes that she desperately needs something only he can give her.
His protection.

This is my first Jenny Foster book and I have to say I was really happy with this story. There was no confusion or misunderstanding with who was who. There were no multiple stories and what was going on. Cassie is a great character, she is strong and has gone through a hell of a lot in the past that makes her that way. So when bad things start happening when she leaves Earth Cassie has to learn to survive outside her normal living. Khazaar, is the alien that she is supposed to mate to, and he will do anything to protect her and his people. This is an interesting read but such a great read. It does not end in a cliffhanger but it does have an ending where it does go on to a second book if you want to go on. I can’t wait to see where it goes. Great book.

About The Prey:

I will go off-mission. For her.
I am a cyborg. Half human, half machine.
My creator optimized me until I was exactly what he wanted. I have turned into an elite bounty hunter. My orders are simple. Anyone who endangers the certain survival of the human race is my prey.
The word failure is not part of my vocabulary.
Compassion is nothing more than a phrase.
My mechanical heart does not recognize feelings.
Until an assignment leads me straight to Mara. My creator’s beautiful daughter.
To her, cyborgs are nothing more than henchmen who quietly take care of anything that humans shy away from. When my eyes catch hers, I feel an unexplainable connection. Mara awakens something in me that I can neither hunt, nor kill.
*She* becomes my prey.
The most impossible hunt of my life.

This is the second book of the Betania Breed series. Jenny Foster brings this world to life and keeps you at the end of your seat. The characters are wonderful and the story strong.
On a side note, you don’t have to read the first one to understand what is going on here. But if you are like me, I have some OCD and have to read it. So enjoy both books. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy for my honest review

About The Human:
My orders are simple.
Bring the human female to my King.
A routine job for me – Or so I thought.

I am Talon Delkhari.
I was the mightiest warlord of my people, until I dared to contradict my king. Instead of granting me an honorable death in the fight against our enemies, he made me his chamberlain instead. It is my job to ensure the safety of his women.

His newest conquest is from Earth. He won her in a poker game, and I am supposed to deliver her safely to his bed. An easy assignment for someone like me. That’s what I thought, anyway, until this human woman awakened the predator lurking under my skin, and it claimed her for itself.

She is different to all of the other women I know.
She can see the animal in me.
She looks at me without fear.

Her scent follows me into my dreams, and even though I know that she can never belong to me, I can’t take my eyes off her.
My loyalty to my people and my sense of duty, however, are stronger than the beast under my skin that yearns for her…

This is a really good book. Every time Jenny writes these stories they get better and better.
This one is about Cat and Talon. Talon is tasked with bringing Cat to his lord so that she can be his next/and added wife. Talon finds this to be a degrading act for himself since he is a seasoned warrior and should be out fighting the bad guys. But his lord is a spoiled man and only cares about jewelry and women. But could there be another reason he sent Talon?
Cat was won through a game of poker. She put herself up for sale so that she could get herself off Earth. She is a mind reader and has been in hiding from the government. But when she meets Talon she feels protected and wants to stay with him. But things start happening and they are forced to stay on Earth for a while.
I really enjoyed this story and all the details that Jenny does go through. It isn’t too much, just enough to keep you interested. I voluntary read an advanced reader copy for my honest review.

About The Dragon:

A merciless fighter with a lost past.
A woman with the skill to awaken his memories.
A kiss that might save the world.

My name is Coran Burke.
I’m unique among the fighters in the Black Squad.
I’m more than human.

My new assignment takes me to Dassuria, on the trail of an alien dragon lord. To beat him, I’ll have to dig deep into my own past.

At his side is a woman with deep entanglements in his dealings. Despite my misgivings, I can’t get her out of my head. She’s unearthed feelings I’d long ago abandoned and stirred something in me like no one has ever done before.
She should be my enemy, but she appears to be the key to my survival – a puzzle I’m hesitant to solve.

Love or duty.
Passion or loyalty.
Dragon or human.

The choice is mine, but at what cost?

Another great story by Jenny!
The story brings you to Coran the half human/dragon with little to no memory of his past life. He is undercover to get to Dasquian and his gaming hell. Dasquian is a bad guy. He does horrible things and sells drugs to people.
Chloe is there also to save her sister, Isabelle. Chloe has special powers and she is being used by Dasquian to make Coran lose his battle. But when Chloe gets distracted and Coran wins Chloe is pretty sure her sister is going to be killed.
Chloe and Coran are not looking for love. They both have things they are looking for but love is not one of them. But things just happen.
I enjoyed this story just like the others.

About Assigned a Mate:

When a potential threat against her life forces Eva Daily to seek shelter on another world, she has only one option available to her. She must offer herself to the Interstellar Bride Program. After a deeply humiliating assessment of her suitability, Eva will be assigned a mate and transported to his world to become his bride.
Upon arriving on the desert planet Trion, Eva soon learns that things are quite different than she is used to on Earth. Her assigned mate, the powerful, handsome High Councilor Tark, makes it clear that she will be expected to submit to him completely, and she quickly discovers that disobedience will earn her a painful, embarrassing spanking on her bare bottom.
An intimate examination from her new mate leaves Eva blushing crimson, but to her surprise Tark’s mastery of her body arouses her beyond anything she could have ever imagined. Soon enough she finds herself naked, bound, and unable to resist the urge to beg for more as his skillful lovemaking brings her to one shattering climax after another.
It doesn’t take long, however, for Eva to realize that there is much more to Tark than just a dominant brute who will not hesitate to take his misbehaving wife over his knee and redden her bare bottom thoroughly. But just as her passion for him begins to blossom into love, events back on Earth threaten to tear her away from him forever. Can Eva find a way to remain at Tark’s side and in his bed, or will she be left with nothing but memories of the man who has claimed both her body and her heart?

About Mated to the Warriors:

When circumstances leave her with little choice but to volunteer for the Interstellar Bride Program, Hannah Johnson finds herself matched with not one but two mates. Her soon-to-be husbands are warriors of the planet Prillon, a world whose men are known far and wide for their prowess both in battle and in bed.
Following her transport to a starship halfway across the galaxy, Hannah awakens in the presence of Zane Deston, the huge, fiercely handsome commander of the Prillon fleet. After informing her that she is now his mate, as well as the mate of his second, Zane takes it upon himself to supervise as Hannah is thoroughly and intimately examined. Her failure to properly cooperate with the ship’s doctor earns her a painful, embarrassing spanking on her bare bottom, but it is her body’s response to the exam which truly leaves her blushing.
Though Hannah is shocked by the prospect of being shared by Zane and his second, the equally handsome warrior Dare, she cannot hide her arousal as her two dominant mates take their time in mastering her body. As the day of the claiming ceremony approaches, Hannah begins to long for the moment when Zane and Dare will make her fully theirs, but can she risk giving her heart to men who might die in battle any day?

About Claimed by Her Mates

Desperate to escape a powerful man set on making an example of her for daring to defy him, Leah’s only option is to volunteer for the Interstellar Bride Program. She is assigned to the planet Viken, but upon her arrival she is shocked to discover that she has been matched to not one huge, handsome warrior, but three of them.
Drogan, Tor, and Lev were born as identical triplets to the royal family of Viken, but they were separated at birth in a last ditch effort to prevent a catastrophic war. In the years since a fragile peace has held, but now a terrible threat from deep space is growing more pressing by the day and there is only one way for the three brothers to save their people. They must take a mate and produce a sole heir to the throne as soon as possible.
Though being shared by three men is far from what she expected when she left Earth, Leah cannot hide her intense arousal as the brothers begin to teach her what it means to be mastered by warriors of Viken. It isn’t long before her hesitance to fully submit to her dominant husbands earns Leah a sound spanking on her bare bottom, yet even that shameful chastisement merely increases her desire for them. With her own future and that of the planet at stake, will she stubbornly resist her body’s demands, or will she surrender herself to be claimed by her mates?

About Taken by Her Mates

After being set up and found guilty of a crime she didn’t commit, Jessica volunteers for the Interstellar Bride Program to avoid a lengthy prison sentence. She is assigned to a prince, the heir to the throne of the powerful planet Prillon, but her future is left in doubt when the match is rejected by Prillon’s current ruler.
When his own father seeks to banish him and deny him his right to a mate, Prince Nial takes matters into his own hands. Accompanied by a battle-tested warrior who volunteers as his second, he sets out for Earth to take what is his, but upon his arrival he quickly discovers that the same horrifying enemies who once took him captive now hunt his mate as well.
Though believing she has been rejected by a mate she never even met stings more deeply than she would like to admit, Jessica does her best to focus on the dangerous task of bringing down the people who framed her. But before long, her world is turned upside down all over again when two huge, handsome aliens save her life and then inform her that she is their matched mate and they have come to Earth to claim her.

Jessica is far from ready to meekly submit, but she soon learns that her new mates expect to be obeyed and defiance will result in a painful, embarrassing spanking on her bare bottom. Despite her fury at such treatment, however, she cannot hide her arousal as she is stripped bare and thoroughly mastered by the fierce, dominant warriors. But when Prince Nial is forced to defend his birthright, will Jessica do what must be done to aid him, even if that means allowing his entire world to bear witness as she is taken by her mates?

About Her Viken Mates

Isabella Martinez was always good at rebelling, against her parents, her school, her boyfriends. She had needs no one could meet, desires so dark no one could tame her. When her wild side gets her in trouble with the law, she doesn’t think twice when given a choice between prison or transport to a new world as an Interstellar Bride. Alone on Earth, the decision was easy. But when she arrives on Viken, she learns she’s been matched to not one fierce, alien brute, but three—and their desires, their needs, their demands are far darker and more demanding than her own. As enemies plot to destroy Viken’s place in the Coalition Fleet, Bella will have to learn to trust, or lose everything. Her mates will feed the hunger inside her no others ever could. But their secrets will either break her heart…or set her free forever.

So this is my first Grace Goodwin book and I loved it. This book is so sexually charged and wonderfully written I could not put it down. I did not feel like I missed anything by not reading the other books, but I will, of course, read the others. This is such a great book, A one-click kind of book.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

About Fighting for Their Mate

Once a commander with the Intelligence Core for the Coalition Fleet, a mission gone wrong forced Chloe to return to Earth injured and dishonored. But she’s seen too much and is restless in civilian life. This drives her to do whatever it takes to return to space, to where she belongs, so she volunteers as an Interstellar Bride. She’s shocked to discover her mate is human, but he’s like no one else she’s ever met…and he’s taken a second, a huge Prillon warrior equally determined to seduce her body and win her heart.
ReCon Captain, Seth Mills, lost both of his brothers to the Hive, and vows to continue fighting. His bride is an unwelcome shock, and he agrees to the Prillon custom of taking a second to protect the innocent woman destined to be his. No matter how determined he is to resist her allure, one touch, one kiss, and he knows he can never let her go.
Although she surrenders to their dominant touch, Chloe is no innocent. She’s a commander with secrets she can’t share. And when the entire Battlegroup is caught in a deadly Hive trap, she’s the only one who can save them all, no matter the cost. But Chloe’s mates won’t let her go into battle alone. No matter the risk, they’re willing to sacrifice everything…and fight for their mate.

This is another good one by Grace Goodwin. Chloe has matched with her mate a human earth male fighting with the Coalition. When Seth finds out he has been matched he doesn’t want her. He refuses to leave a wife and children alone if something happens to him. So when his friend Dorian says he would like to be his “second” Seth jumps at the chance.
Chloe has no idea that she is being sent to two mates. But she doesn’t pass at the idea. Chloe also has a past with the Coalition which comes up.
Again another good addition to the interstellar bride series. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

About Her Rogue Mates:

No rules. No laws. No mercy. She belongs to them now.
An Earth member of the medical recovery team on Transport Station Zenith, Harper meets two mysterious strangers from an unknown world. With intense eyes and even more intense desires, it’s easy for the two sexy-as-sin aliens to prove how good it can be with them.
Styx, a leader from Rogue 5, knows Harper is destined to belong to him and his most trusted enforcer, Blade. But when Styx is betrayed by one of his own kind, she’s caught in the deadly crossfire. Her mates must tread carefully, for even if they win the battle on the lawless outer moon, they might lose the most important battle of all, the one for Harper’s heart.

I am really enjoying Grace Goodwin’s books. She has a way of bringing you into another world and making you want to stay there. Harper, an earthling is caught up in a coalition mess up and when she is saved by Styx and Blade and taken as their mate her life will never be the same again.
I loved Styx and Blade from the last book and was so happy to see that they got their own book and what a book. Harper takes them on and can handle them wonderfully. She is truly their mate and this a wonderful book. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

About Claimed by the Vikens:

The only thing former Coalition warriors Calder, Zed and Axon have in common are long years spent battling the Hive, and their eagerness to claim their personal reward—their own Interstellar Bride.
When news arrives on Viken that each of the warriors has been matched, they gather at the transport station only to receive two unwelcome surprises.

First, they are all matched to the same woman, and not one of them is inclined to share.
Second, their mate has refused them.
She won’t leave Earth and transport to Viken.
Won’t give any of them a chance to win her heart.

But these warriors will not back down from a challenge.
When one states his intention to travel to Earth and retrieve his mate,
the others will not allow him to make the journey alone.
Their mate will be seduced.
One by one, they will tame her.
Make her their own.

May the best man win…

Okay so former Coalition warriors Calder, Zed and Axon have nothing to do with each other at all. They all show up to meet their bride, who is 97% compatible with them. Although they don’t know that they have been matched with the same woman. Needless to say, they don’t take to kindly to have to share. Even though they knew that it could be an option.
Violet was being matched so that she could go see her sister who had been matched and sent to Trion. So when she gets matched and finds out she will be sent to Vikon instead Violet wants nothing to do with it. She decides to change her mind and go home. But when someone knocks on her door and she sees three very large aliens on her doorstep she finds out she might not have much of a choice at love.
I really enjoyed this story. There are wonderful characters, and the storyline is different but great. Violet is really protective of her sister and when she finally finds her, it doesn’t go as planned

About The Way to a Bear’s Heart:

Nessa Baxter’s about to get everything she wants. A close friend has offered Nessa her dream job as his personal chef. But can Gerri Wilder, Nova Aurora’s matchmaking miracle-worker, find Nessa her dream mate?

After years of waiting, Nessa’s pretty sure she’s a lost cause. But then she meets strong, sexy Gaius, a bear shifter bachelor whose skills with his tools will be instrumental in building her the kitchen of her dreams. Lonely and aloof, the dominating former Arena Champion seems the perfect match for strong-willed Nessa. But if that were true, wouldn’t the matchmaker they’ve both placed their trust in have matched them up already?

Gerri’s silence is telling; Nessa doesn’t want to get close to anyone she’s not going to have a future with, and Gaius isn’t sure he’s ready to have a future with anyone at all. The trouble is, the bossy she-bear has lit a fire in him that can’t easily be quenched, and her skills in the kitchen are going straight to his heart.

I love Gerri. I have read most of the books that have her in them, but no matter how many I read with her in them she always seems to surprise me. She makes me laugh every time.
This is a quick read with a lot of emotion and great characters. A must read!

About this Book:

Pomona Maurin’s biggest dream is landing a coveted position as personal chef to the stars. She’s busted her ass and put her to-die-for recipes to the test, yet gained zero recognition for her efforts. That is, until Gerri Wilder discovers her culinary talents and knows just the “stars” who need Pomona’s skills the most.

Ignazio Karsten and Bryer Vargas are two of the most famous celebrities on the shifter home planet, Nova Aurora. The dragon shifter duo, known regionally as “Hot Wings,” are the reigning Nova Aurora Arena League champions for several seasons running. When a vindictive opponent breaks the rules and nearly kills Bryer during their championship fight, their streak might just be at an end—and so might their careers.

Only dedicated training and a strict diet will ensure Bryer’s return to health, and Ignazio’s recovery from a deep depression, but even that won’t guarantee the duo will make it back into the arena for the next season. They need a chef with the particular talents to fulfill their dietary needs and still satisfy their hungry dragons

When they set eyes on Pomona, both men know there’s only one thing on the menu for them. Will they be able to convince their new chef that they want to share more than just her cooking?

I loved Ophelia Bell adding to Milly Taiden story line. I have read all of Milly’s stories and Ophelia’s so this was such a great surprise and added bonus.
Ignazio Karsten and Bryer Vargas are famous fighters but are down for the count due to injury. They need special treatment that includes diet and time off. Enter Pomona who’s biggest dream is to cook for famous people and have them enjoy her food. But she had no idea what she was getting into when she decides to go to a different world and work for two hot and steamy dragons.
This is a great paranormal romance that brings two strong individuals together, that have worked together forever, but yet are surprised when they both fall for the same woman. And a woman who even in her wildest dreams never thought she would want two men together let alone two dominant dragon fighters. The three of them all together is a hot storm of sex and romance.
Loved this book and it is a great addition to this collection!

About Triple Talons:

Can love bloom from grief?

Simina Taji has had no use for mates ever since hers died in arena combat last year. All she cares about now is his memory, and the promise he’d forced her to make upon his deathbed: that she’d find a way to have the baby they always wanted.

It’s a tall order, but if anyone can fulfill it, the Paranormal Dating Agency can. Simina has only one rule for legendary matchmaker Gerri Wilder: no League champions.

Unfortunately, true love doesn’t always obey terms and conditions, so when not just one, but three League champions capture her heart, Simina must make a difficult decision. Can she move on from the past, or will her fear destroy her future?

What another great story out of the Dating Agency! This time we get Simina, Veryl, Cato, and Dez.
Simina is ready to mend her broken heart, or at least to a point. She wants a family but that doesn’t mean she wants her heart involved. So she goes to our favorite matchmaker Geri Wilder.
The boys, Veryl, Cato, and Dez want different things, yes they want a child but they also have a secret love for each other but know they need more than just each other. So when Veryl meets Simina on a blind date via Geri something just clicks with each other.
But when Simina finds out that the boys are part of the same championship that she lost her first love from.
This story has some very hot sex so be warned, M/F/M/M, and some M/M/M action. Talk about needing some new panties! There is an HEA as always with Ophelia’s books. I loved it. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review

Steamy hot virgin story.

When Nico finds out that his wife has secrets that could endanger not only him, but the entire vampire population of Venice, he has to make a choice: get rid of her, or seduce her to join his side. Luckily, seduction is what Nico does best …

About Wicked Seduction:

51ApCe-VsdLSeries: Part of the Berserker’s
Title: Night of the Berserkers

Star Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

About Night of the Berserkers:

I have one night to meet the mage…
One night to destroy him…
One night to break the Berserker’s curse…
One night to save them…

I woke in a field, surrounded by warriors. The spell had brought me to the threshold of the Corpse King’s fortress. When the men seized me, I reached for my power, but none came to my aid.

I was a thousand years from home, a captive of the Corpse King’s guard, and I had no magic.

Night of the Berserkers is a stand alone reverse harem romance starring four huge, dominant warriors and the witch who must free them from the Berserker curse.

I have not been keeping up with the Berserker series but you don’t really have to with this book.

Lee brings you back in time with this interesting story. Yseult is brought back in time to find out how to kill the Corpse King. They know there was a queen back in time that killed him and she is entrusted to find out who that woman is.

While Yseult is in the past, she meets some interesting characters. Lars, Ivar, Magnus, and Tristan. I loved these men. They are wonderful in each their own way.

I greatly enjoyed this story!

About Surrender to the Cyborgs

Wrongly imprisoned whistle-blower Rachel Pierce would rather take her chances with her court appeal than accept her place as the first Interstellar Bride destined for the Colony. She’s stubborn and determined to seek justice—and her freedom—on Earth…but her mates are not willing to risk her life or her future on a system they believe to be both primitive and corrupt.
Maxim of Prillon Prime fought ten long years in the Hive wars. Captured and tortured with his second, Ryston, they escaped only to be rejected by their own people and condemned to life on the Colony with the other “contaminated” cyborg warriors. As leader of Sector 3, it’s Maxim’s duty to set an example for his warriors and summon a bride. When she refuses transport, he can’t allow her rejection to demoralize an entire planet of battle hardened but jaded warriors. Maxim and Ryston transport to Earth where they decide she’s theirs and a maximum security human prison will not keep them apart.
Getting Rachel to the Colony is only the first challenge they will face. Convincing their beautiful mate to surrender to not one, but two dominant warriors is another. Even if they can win her love, a new evil is rising on the Colony and someone close to Maxim will be its first victim. Maxim will be its second, unless Rachel’s love and relentless pursuit of the truth proves strong enough to save him.

About Mated to the Cyborgs

FBI Agent Kristin Webster has spent the last eight years tracking and taking down the worst of humanity. She’s seen to much to believe she could ever trust a human man, but the promise of a perfect match through the Coalition’s Interstellar Brides Program has her settling into the testing chair to be matched to her alien mate. But her match isn’t a male from a distant planet, but two scarred Prillon warriors on the Colony. And when warriors begin to disappear, Kristin will take matters into her own hands.
Captains Hunt and Tyran have been waiting too long for a mate to allow her to risk her life chasing evil. But their defiant little human won’t listen. They are determined to tame her, claim her, keep her safe…no matter the cost.

About Cyborg Seduction

There is nowhere to hide from a Hunter determined to find his mate.
Lindsey Walters is a blogger who takes the craziest assignment of her life—sneak aboard a freighter bound for the terrifying alien prison planet known as The Colony and find out the truth about what’s happening to Earth’s brave soldiers.

A Hunter from Everis banished to the Colony, Kiel’s focus is to search for hidden enemies on his new home planet, not love. But when his mark awakens and he shares dreams with an unknown woman, everything changes. When he finds her offered as the prize in the Colony’s brutal fighting pits, he must fight for her with every ounce of strength he possesses, or risk losing her to another.

About Her Cyborg Beast

Caroline Jane (CJ) Ellison has a gift for analysis. When a Wall Street deal goes bad, the choice between prison or the Interstellar Brides Program is a no-brainer. She’ll go. She’ll leave Earth, her past, and her mistakes behind. The decision is logical, not emotional. Until she wakes up on another world with a huge Atlan Warlord, her matched mate, refusing to claim her.
Warlord Rezzer is contaminated. Weak. The Hive captured him and stole his soul, his very beast. A mate is out of the question when he can’t become what he was born to be, a beast, her mate, her protector. Forced into the Brides Program testing against his will, Rezzer has no intention of claiming the beautiful, sassy female who arrives on the Colony. The Hive stole his beast, but not his honor. He vows to give her to another, a worthy male, a beast who is whole — one not hunted by the Hive as part of a dangerous new experiment to win the war.
CJ takes one look at the wounded warrior before her and knows she will never be able to let him walk away. He’s hers now, her perfect match. And if that means she has to seduce the beast or face off with the Hive to save him…that’s exactly what she’s going to do. She lived her life following the rules. With everything on the line, it’s time to break them.

This is a somewhat of an instant-love story like all the other Interstellar Bride books by Grace Goodwin. I mean when you go into a machine and that machine finds your perfect match no matter where they are in the entire galaxy is that not insta-love? But for this story Rezzer wants to give up his bride when he can’t feel his beast anymore, so he feels less than a man. But CJ refuses to be left by her chosen mate and sometimes us females know what is best. I really enjoyed this story. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

About Cyborg Fever

Warlord Anghar survives hell as a captive of the evil Hive. Convinced he will never break free, he chooses death over dishonor. When the Coalition ReCon Team sent to kill him frees him instead, he begins the long, tortuous journey back to a true Atlan, a warrior proud of his beast, of his service.
But no amount of honor, of bravery, or strength of will can save Angh from a life alone, banished with the other “contaminated” warriors on The Colony. And no amount of prayer to the gods will save him when the fever in his blood grows beyond his will to control – and the Atlan Mating Fever steals his final shards of belief.
Imprisoned, awaiting execution, one hope is left; a woman brave enough to tame his beast – and strong enough to fight the demons inside both his head and his heart. Because he may have escaped the Hive…but they aren’t finished with him yet.

I couldn’t wait for Angh story. This poor guy has been through so much and now he is going through the fever. He needs a mate and he thinks it will never find her. Just when things couldn’t get any worse he meets Kira. Angh and Kira have instant chemistry. But when you are in the middle of a war your love life isn’t the priority.

I loved this story and was happy to read it and give my honest review.

About Never Let You Go:

In this modern retelling of Hansel and Gretel, thirteen-year-old foster children Griselda and Holden escape from their abductor after three years of brutal captivity, and try to cross the Shenandoah River on foot. Tragically, one of them makes it to safety, but the other is left behind.
Ten years later, Griselda’s boyfriend drags her to a fight club grudge match, and her world is turned upside down when she watches Holden step into the ring.
Though the connection between them is fierce, bitter regret, simmering rage, and a tangle of physical and emotional scars lie between them, just as dangerous as the white water of the Shenandoah.
Never Let You Go is a story of fear and hope, defeat and survival, and two people–once profoundly broken–who discover that love is the only thing that can make them whole again.

About Ginger’s Heart:
Once upon a time there were two cousins:
one golden like the sun,
one dark like midnight,
one a protector,
one a predator,
one a Woodsman
one a Wolf…
both owning equal,
but different,
parts of a little girl’s heart.
In this contemporary love story, loosely inspired by “Little Red Riding Hood,” the woodsman and the wolf are cousins, and Little Red is the girl with whom they both fall in love.
Beautiful Ginger McHuid, daughter of Kentucky’s premiere horse breeder, grows up on her family farm, best friends with Cain Wolfram, the son of her father’s Stallion Manager, and Cain’s cousin, Josiah Woodman, son of a local banker. Throughout their happy childhood, the three are inseparable friends, but as they mature into adults, complicated feelings threaten to destroy their long history of friendship and love.

About Dark Sexy Knight:
Loosely inspired by the legend of Camelot, Dark Sexy Knight tells the story of dinner theater knight Colt Lane, who meets down-on-her-luck Verity Gwynn on the worst day of her life. Evicted from their home, Verity and her special-needs brother, Ryan, must find jobs or risk being separated. Colt, who is the furthest-possible thing from a white knight in real life, comes to their unlikely rescue, quickly cementing his place in Verity’s heart.
Colt has dark, deeply buried secrets that keep his smile hidden and his eyes down, which has kept people away . . . until he meets Verity, who seems immune to his gruff manners and taciturn ways. The more time Colt spends with her, the more he longs for her sweetness in his life and yearns to be the knight in shining armor she so desperately needs. Certain he will lose her if she learns the truth about his past, he must decide if he can trust her with his yesterday in order to build a beautiful tomorrow.

In this “Rapunzel” retelling, Bella Capelli, a hair stylist who works on the 32nd floor of the New York Metro Tower Hotel, meets His Serene Highness Prince Nico De’Medici, in town for the wedding of his twin sister, Valentina. Though the two come from vastly different worlds, and Nico is promised to another, the handsome prince can’t seem to stay away from sweet Bella. After a whirlwind week of romance, will they manage to find their happily-ever-after?

About Fragments of Ash:
My name is Ashley Ellis…
I was thirteen years old when my mother – retired supermodel, Tig – married Mosier Răumann, who was twice her age and the head of the Răumann crime family.
When I turned eighteen, my mother mysteriously died. Only then did I discover the dark plans my stepfather had in store for me all along; the debauched “work” he expected me to do.
With the help of my godfather, Gus, I have escaped from Mosier’s clutches, but his twin sons and henchmen have been tasked with hunting me down. And they will stop at nothing to return my virgin body to their father
…dead or alive.

I have not read or heard of Katy Regnery before. When I saw this cover from another author facebook page I loved it, and then read the blurb I thought WTH. WOW. Where have I been! I loved the twist and turns she gave this book. And I love how she turned Cinderella around.

This is a dark and stormy read that brings you into a whole new world. I never have read such a different twist on a fairytale and I loved it. I felt for Ashley right off the bat. That poor girl never had a chance until. Now that she is stuck with her step-father and brothers she is in so much more trouble.

When she gets to her fairy godfather. Gus is able to hide her and save her for a while. While Ashley is in hiding she finds her prince in a ruff and rugged ex-secret serviceman named Julian. Who has his own past that he is running from.

I loved this story and will be going to purchase the others to read!

Series: Supernatural Love Stories in the Absurd
Author: D.P. Payne
Book 1: Parched
Book 2: Cursed
Book 3: Spirited
Book 4: Loched
Book 1: Parched
Book 2: Cursed
Book 3: Spirited
Book 4: Loched

About Parched:
A wendigo controlled by a curse. An insatiable mystery woman. One sexy, crazy ride.
Greed. For the last 4,000 years, it’s been my curse.
Every day, I live with the repercussions of the terrible choices I made.
I thought I’d seen it all…then a black aura crosses my path.
The beautiful woman it belongs to sends my world into a tailspin.
She gets under my skin, hypnotizing me with her adventurous and risque nature. I almost forget I know nothing about her.
Thinking with the wrong head can certainly get a man in trouble, but in this case, it could mean an end worse than my curse.

D.P. Payne comes out swinging with her first book. I am a huge paranormal reader and I enjoyed this one.

We get a wendigo named Waylon and everything is from his point of view, which I really enjoyed. Waylon is hungry and finds a woman with an aura that is black. Never before has anyone heard of it. But Waylon wants her, not for it but for her.

This is a great novella and was happy to read it.

About Cursed:
A cursed pharaoh. A determined archaeologist. Three days to find true love.
The dank depths of the Egyptian ruins reveal something I’ve been searching for my entire adult life—the tomb of the mysterious pharaoh, Nebtawyre Mentuhotep IV.
And somehow, the sexy king steps from his sarcophagus very much alive.
Lust soon overpowers reason as I fall down the rabbit hole with Wyre.
He claims me completely—my mind, body, and soul.
We only have three days to break a 4,000-year-old curse placed on him by his crazy ex.
If we don’t, he’ll return to his tomb and take my heart with him.

I think this is my favorite one so far.
We get a pharaoh that just can’t keep it in his pants. When his wife finds him screwing someone else (again) she puts a curse on him. He is only allowed to wake up every 27 years for 3 days to find his forever love. Needless to say, Wyre doesn’t take it too seriously the first couple thousand years. So when he wakes up this time, he expects it to be just like always.
Moira has been looking for the tomb of Nebtawyre Mentuhotep IV for a while now. But when she finds it she never expected him to look so alive. When Moira learns of the curse neither of them takes it as she could be the love of his life. But they do make the most of it.
I really liked this story. We also get to see the couple from the last book, although you don’t have to have read it to understand this book. 🙂

About Spirited:
A haunted mansion. A sexy ghost. A contractor determined to fix both.
Buying and renovating the old plantation house seems like a great idea. The fact that it’s supposedly haunted by the spirit of a murdered prostitute is a minor oversight.
I don’t believe in that crap anyway.
But after a late-night rendezvous with a sexy spirit elicits a very real nocturnal emission from me, I have to rethink my belief in poltergeists…and love.
The intoxicating woman who has been trapped here for over a century casts a spell over me with her humor, courage, and passion.
I have to do something to free her from her ethereal prison.
But will my actions break her metaphysical chains, or will they release something darker into my new home?

Although this one had me laughing out loud I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the other two before. As with the other two books that D.P. has written this one is also novella size, insta love story.

Margot is pretty fun and funny for a ghost, but I guess you have to be after so many years being stuck in one place. But when she sees Blake, for once she doesn’t want them to leave.

Blake is at the house to restore it to its natural glory. But he is not from around there so he has no idea the house he bought is hunted. When he starts hearing weird things he thinks he is going nuts.

Payne brings a ghost story to life.

About Loched:
A legend under the surface. A woman obsessed. A destined love.
Returning to Loch Ness means coming home in more ways than one.
The monster exists. I’ve seen him. Visions of the beast haunt my dreams and waking hours.
I need to get back to the loch. To him.
When he rises from the water again, I watch him shift into a sexy Highlander right before my eyes, and everything I think I know evaporates.
He’s so much more than I imagined.
A magical attraction between us leads down a path of ancient curses, family lore, and to an unmistakable love.
But will it be enough to keep him human, or will he return to the murky depths with my heart?

This one was probably my least favorite. Although it is an inspiring story I mean who would think to do a story about the Lochness monster. And the story has some interesting twists in it. I just felt like it was to short. All of these stories are novella size, and I get that. But for some weird reason, this one seemed to short.
I would recommend this series although they are all standalone and can be read in any order!
